I will always be grateful for what Legacy gave me - a safe space and the tools and relationships that form the foundation for my recovery. While the facility itself and living arrangements are decent, what has been invaluable to my recovery were the people - the clinical staff (facilitators and therapists) and support staff (techs). They wholly embody professionalism, commitment, and willingness to go to any lengths to support their clients. Recovery does not happen in a vacuum, and I am grateful to call Legacy a community of mine. I am especially grateful for Farrah, Paul, Glorious, Liam, Sonia, Heather, Anita, Sean, Karen, Jose, Cas and Kenny, among others who have provided me and all other clients a safe and meaningful place to heal and take on the adventures ahead. ~ Simon L

Legacy was the right place at the right time for me. I've heard people complain here but people are usually looking for someone to gripe about no matter where they go. Legacy is focused on helping people as much as possible including working through health insurance limitations and personal issues. There are little things that the facility has initiated on certain days like having a barista serve clients, an ice cream truck, and a hot chocolate cart. Their staff is filled with diligent and caring people who are invested in the client's well being. In particular Heather always walks around with a smile on her face and she never hesitates to help with anything you need! Thank you so much everyone. ~ Milovan S

Was really impressed with my case worker slike Malone she did amazing work for me and I'm very greatful to her for all the hard work she put in for me. I'd like to give another shout out to my therapist Paul for really motivating me to put in extra work in my recovery because you get out what you put in as he would tell me. I shared some real personal stuff with him and I'm greatful to have had him as my therapist. And to the staff everybody for the most part were awesome and always checked on Me during the day. The people that come to mind are Anita....Brittany...will.....mariah....Karen. and the best facilitators by far were glorious....Kurt and Farrah. Thank you to the whole staff at legacy. I came to legacy thinking “How much more can I learn?” I came from another rehab/detox place and thought I had learned all I needed to. I have learned so much more, not only from the Therapist and techs but from the wonderful women I lived with. Believe me when I say when you think you got this is when you really don’t. There’s always more room to grow and learn. The techs and therapists are awesome at what they do and they make you feel comfortable with yourself and with them. If I had to do it again ( which I don’t plan on it!) I would absolutely come back here. To the ladies at Sparta I love you and will miss all of you, you guys made my stay that much better!! During my time here there were a lot of ups and downs, this is to be expected when going thru the growth of recovery. I was not always the easiest to deal with, but the techs, the admins, and the other clients here all treated me how they would want to be treated in the same situration. Sometimes it was gentle and kind, when i was really not in a good place. And some times with firm push in the right direction when I was being defiant. But at no point in time did I feel anything but love and caring from the entire staff. They did not always deserve my voice at the tone I had it, but they will always deserve my thanks and gratitude for my time here. I leave here a better person the i came here as. ~ Steven M

I’ve had an amazing experience during my time here. The staff is actually caring and there for us, the facility itself is great, and even the food is great. They make you feel like you matter and actually listen to you. It’s definitely a place that prioritizes YOU and your recovery! It feels like a home away from home. The housing doesn’t make you feel like you’re in treatment, instead it makes you feel as if you’re actually at home which is great preparation for when you go back into the real world. They make sure you still feel human and you feel you are worthy of a healthy life! I’m forever grateful I found this place and will cherish my time here. ~ Jonna G

While I was at Legacy I learned so much. I am thankful for my time here. I am taking my coping skills and things that I learned with me. I want to give a big thanks to my Therapist Glorious, he was able to break things down to me, and educated me to understand the disease of addiction and myself. My Case Manager Silke, she is a caring person, she was always available to assist me with any of my needs, and she is very empathetic. and BHT Supervisor Heather she Assisted me with my needs also. My case manager Silke has cared and has gone above and beyond her role. She has gone above and beyond and gave me some words of wisdom that I will never forget. Such a beautiful spirit, and I am not easy to deal with. As far as drug rehabilitation she is an asset and shows it. Michael my therapist is a veteran and has helped me with my nightmares and assisted me with my PTSD and trauma and I am appreciative of him. Natasha the tech was very nice. There are not too many people you meet in your life that are caring but staff here is. Today I am grateful to be sober. I walked in this door and I was given respect from my case manager as a man. This has not been an easy road but I am thankful for life . And to all my legacy people, KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE DONUT AND NOT THE HOLE. Could not have found a better treatment center than Legacy! I am beyond thrilled and pleased with having come here for help. I was a client of Legacy Healing Center this past year and the staff make you feel like you’re home! It was an amazing experience that I will take with me and cherish for the rest of my life! I was taught such lucrative and amazing things to bring with me on my path of recovery!!! The staff is amazing and so was the center, the housing and the food!! The extra curriculars like yoga and reiki were awesome! I learned so much about my self and addiction throughout this whole process!!! I always felt safe, comfortable, and accommodated!! Had a rough start still getting out of the fog, the staff was very patient and helpful, Amanda was awesome in helping getting there and being supportive, my therapist Hannah was slick how she got me to open up but im glad she did, case manager Stephanie was in my opinion the best case manager helped with my legal issues and getting set up for discharge, the best tech was Lauren who helped out when ever she could, I swear men do work here,lol. The admin team Matt and Alayna were more than patient with me and im grateful they were there, I got love for the staff and hella respect to them and what their doing!!!! ~ John H

Legacy is such an amazing program . The staff have been super supportive through my process of recovery. Hannah is my case manager and she has gone above and beyond at her job. The people who work here have made me feel less alone such as the Clinical Supervisor, Devin and Lead Behavioral Tech, Anita. I know I have people I can reach out to here. I have been struggling with relapse after long-term sobriety. The past three years I have not been able to maintain sobriety. I heard of Legacy Healing by several friends who’s experience was amazing. I decided to come to Legacy and my experience has been exceptional. Legacy saved my life. Going into treatment was can be a scary thing. Coming to legacy was the best decision I could have ever made. Legacy is not a treatment facility it’s a my family away from my family. From walking through their doors, to attending groups, to meeting the staff is an experience that I would never forget. I had the best experience. I am my wife would have literally died if we had not made the decision to come to this place. All of the staff was so supportive. I arrived at Legacy healing center in Parsippany on January 12th of 2024. I had every intention of staying until January 30th and returning home to what I now know was a miserable way of life. Now 7 months later I am returning to Florida a person I did not even know existed Legacy healing did just that it healed me in so many ways the staff administrative technical therapeutical altogether worked as a team and a unit to provide me with every tool for recovery possible. All I had to do was reach out and take these tools offered so freely to me and use them. I did the work. Everyday I did the work and that work was not easy but with the support I was provided and the growth and learning opportunities that were afforded to me I am happy to say I have over 7 months of sobriety and I am preparing to venture into a new way of life. Legacy Healing Center Parsippany was an amazing experience for me from the staff to other people going through struggles it was exactly what I needed I can not thank them all enough for what they have done for me. I went in there a broken person with lots of struggles and not knowing myself or how to deal with my stresses and struggles through life. My therapist Sean Sevetar was exactly what I needed he really brought the best out of me and helped me learn how to communicate with my wife and family in an unbelievable way. Sean would bring the energy everyday. From day one I felt comfortable with him and wanted to be my very best for him because that is what he brought to the table for me. This treatment facility is top notch . I am so glad I chose Legacy Healing to get well. The staff is amazing! Silke my case manager is great. Michael my therapist is outstanding. I really liked the facilitator’s but a special shout out to Mark, Glorius and Kurt. Their style allowed me to open up and express what I’ve been feeling and why. This is a great place to restart your life! They have the best receptionist Mariah! Great case manager Hannah, therapist Will, and I cannot forget Psych Phyllis! This place felt like a big hug, I felt so nervous about getting help for recovery. They helped me feel comfortable. All of the groups helped me understand my disease and gave me tools to use to maintain my recovery. My only wish I could have stayed longer (work forced me to get back to my life). Legacy has been a very good rehabilitation center. the techs are very good an always very very helpful. they are very good with medications as well and will always help if there is a problem. the houses are very nice and the groups are extraordinary and the group leaders are amazing people. The counselors and case managers are very good at their job and will help you with whatever you need. And every sunday the activities are very very fun. Thank you legacy! ~ Declan H

Legacy Healing Center has been so incredibly helpful in my recovery process! The staff members are extremely caring, especially on harder days.
