I will always be grateful for what Legacy gave me - a safe space and the tools and relationships that form the foundation for my recovery. While the facility itself and living arrangements are decent, what has been invaluable to my recovery were the people - the clinical staff (facilitators and therapists) and support staff (techs). They wholly embody professionalism, commitment, and willingness to go to any lengths to support their clients. Recovery does not happen in a vacuum, and I am grateful to call Legacy a community of mine. I am especially grateful for Farrah, Paul, Glorious, Liam, Sonia, Heather, Anita, Sean, Karen, Jose, Cas and Kenny, among others who have provided me and all other clients a safe and meaningful place to heal and take on the adventures ahead. ~ Simon L

During my time here there were a lot of ups and downs, this is to be expected when going thru the growth of recovery. I was not always the easiest to deal with, but the techs, the admins, and the other clients here all treated me how they would want to be treated in the same situration. Sometimes it was gentle and kind, when i was really not in a good place. And some times with firm push in the right direction when I was being defiant. But at no point in time did I feel anything but love and caring from the entire staff. They did not always deserve my voice at the tone I had it, but they will always deserve my thanks and gratitude for my time here. I leave here a better person the i came here as. ~ Steven M

I came to legacy thinking “How much more can I learn?” I came from another rehab/detox place and thought I had learned all I needed to. I have learned so much more, not only from the Therapist and techs but from the wonderful women I lived with. Believe me when I say when you think you got this is when you really don’t. There’s always more room to grow and learn. The techs and therapists are awesome at what they do and they make you feel comfortable with yourself and with them. If I had to do it again ( which I don’t plan on it!) I would absolutely come back here. To the ladies at Sparta I love you and will miss all of you, you guys made my stay that much better!! Had a rough start still getting out of the fog, the staff was very patient and helpful, Amanda was awesome in helping getting there and being supportive, my therapist Hannah was slick how she got me to open up but im glad she did, case manager Stephanie was in my opinion the best case manager helped with my legal issues and getting set up for discharge, the best tech was Lauren who helped out when ever she could, I swear men do work here,lol. The admin team Matt and Alayna were more than patient with me and im grateful they were there, I got love for the staff and hella respect to them and what their doing!!!! ~ John H

I was a client of Legacy Healing Center this past year and the staff make you feel like you’re home! It was an amazing experience that I will take with me and cherish for the rest of my life! I was taught such lucrative and amazing things to bring with me on my path of recovery!!! The staff is amazing and so was the center, the housing and the food!! The extra curriculars like yoga and reiki were awesome! I learned so much about my self and addiction throughout this whole process!!! I always felt safe, comfortable, and accommodated!! I had the best experience. I am my wife would have literally died if we had not made the decision to come to this place. All of the staff was so supportive. Everyone at legacy made our stay so outstanding. There are really no words that could express the gratitude I feel so much for this opportunity. Legacy Healing Center Parsippany was an amazing experience for me from the staff to other people going through struggles it was exactly what I needed I can not thank them all enough for what they have done for me. I went in there a broken person with lots of struggles and not knowing myself or how to deal with my stresses and struggles through life. My therapist Sean Sevetar was exactly what I needed he really brought the best out of me and helped me learn how to communicate with my wife and family in an unbelievable way. Sean would bring the energy everyday. From day one I felt comfortable with him and wanted to be my very best for him because that is what he brought to the table for me. I can't thank him enough for all he has done by helping me see the light. I would strongly suggest Legacy Healing Center to anyone that is struggling with Addiction. I arrived at Legacy healing center in Parsippany on January 12th of 2024. I had every intention of staying until January 30th and returning home to what I now know was a miserable way of life. Now 7 months later I am returning to Florida a person I did not even know existed Legacy healing did just that it healed me in so many ways the staff administrative technical therapeutical altogether worked as a team and a unit to provide me with every tool for recovery possible. All I had to do was reach out and take these tools offered so freely to me and use them. I did the work. Everyday I did the work and that work was not easy but with the support I was provided and the growth and learning opportunities that were afforded to me I am happy to say I have over 7 months of sobriety and I am preparing to venture into a new way of life. I spent 120 wonderful days at Legacy and I wouldn’t have traded them for anything at all. Thanks to Legacy, the staff, supervisors, directors, group facilitators, and therapists, I am blessed to say I am 4 months clean and sober. Through this program, I found a light at the end of the tunnel and a goal for the future. I enjoyed my time and experience at Legacy. I was only at the IOP Level of care at this location, but all of the evening staff were accommadating and helpful. The programs ability to cement the proper building blocks and tools for recovery was a crutial part of achieveing sobriety. My experience at Legacy was wonderful! I received everything that I went there to get. I learned alot about myself and felt ready to put what I learned into action by the time I left. The facilitators were very knowledgeable and my therapist was the Best. The staff was professional at all times. That program took care me and my needs. Being at Legacy Healing has been a wonderful experience. I can’t thank the staff and clients I have talked to throughout my stay. I have learned so much from everyone’s experience especially my own. Legacy is a first rate PHP! The whole staff from techs to therapists are very caring, professional, and dedicated. The sober living house was beautiful, well-maintained, full of food, and a great experience for a sober living house. The classes had excellent topics and taught with therapists in recovery. We were able to go to outside meetings, outside activities, and I felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend. Excellent choice for PHP and sober living. ~ Susan F

Great facility if you're going to put the work in. Sean was fantastic! I was lucky to have him in my corner. A very inspiring person. Everyone from the counselors to the support staff was wonderful . I learned a lot of coping skills. Please have some patience when you first get there and make sure you follow up on anything. Again, I'd highly recommend Legacy it helped me get my life back on track. ~ Brandon C

My husband and I went to an in person family session today for our son who has been at legacy . His therapist Sean is an absolutely phenomenal therapist , he is direct however compassionate . We met Laura my son’s mental health worker and Jody supervisor! All beautiful, centered , and very passionate about their professional commitment to healing the clients ! Legacy is my home and family. Their facilities are extremely well kept and staff is exceptional. Communication is key when handling your recovery. They are able to assist you in everything you may need as long as you communicate with them. I have been to multiple locations due to my hardships with addiction, but they've been there for me every step of the way. I have had a great experience at Legacy Healing North Jersey, The staff is very receptive and understanding of any issues or problems I may have. The program director Morgan and Assistant Director Alayna have advocated for me and have gave me great feedback and guidance throughout my stay. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for treatment for addiction and mental health. This is the best php program I've ever been to. Relaspe is in my story, so I've visited my fair share of facilities from FL, CA, to NJ. They have an awesome curriculum that not only teaches you how to cope in life sober, but also teaches us why we do the things addicts tend to do. <3 I would highly recommend this for anyone whose struggling with addiction. ~ Alexis P

I loved this place for my recovery. All the techs and upper management was amazing. They helped me stay on track towards my recovery. It was a very clean place and amazing houses and apartments. I loved my apartment. Saretha, Karen, Brittany, Damon, Chris, William, Laura and all my counselors were amazing and understanding and kind. I had an incredible experience at the partial level of care. Their communication is astounding and any time I was in need of something Alayna the assistant program director made sure that it was taken care of. My son spent 6 months at Legacy healing, I wouldn’t traded for the world. It has been the best facility ever, the staff and therapist have been a blessing to my son’s life.
