I will always be grateful for what Legacy gave me - a safe space and the tools and relationships that form the foundation for my recovery. While the facility itself and living arrangements are decent, what has been invaluable to my recovery were the people - the clinical staff (facilitators and therapists) and support staff (techs). They wholly embody professionalism, commitment, and willingness to go to any lengths to support their clients. Recovery does not happen in a vacuum, and I am grateful to call Legacy a community of mine. I am especially grateful for Farrah, Paul, Glorious, Liam, Sonia, Heather, Anita, Sean, Karen, Jose, Cas and Kenny, among others who have provided me and all other clients a safe and meaningful place to heal and take on the adventures ahead. ~ Simon L

I have had a wonderful experience at Legacy. From the Director Devin, Therapist Birdie, and especially my Case Manger Silke Malone who helped me keep my electricity on by advocating for me, so I can continue my treatment. I want to also give honorable mention to Mr. Glorious for always being candid about life while fighting addiction. Ms. Evelyn for her smile and getting it done attitude, NP Phillis for always educating me about the side effects of my medication as well as her encouraging words. Mr. Shawn and Mr. Keith for always giving a small even on their hardest day. I could go on and on, because there are so many wonderful people at Legacy. I'm happy to be part of their alumni. Legacy was the right place at the right time for me. I've heard people complain here but people are usually looking for someone to gripe about no matter where they go. Legacy is focused on helping people as much as possible including working through health insurance limitations and personal issues. There are little things that the facility has initiated on certain days like having a barista serve clients, an ice cream truck, and a hot chocolate cart. Their staff is filled with diligent and caring people who are invested in the client's well being. In particular Heather always walks around with a smile on her face and she never hesitates to help with anything you need! Thank you so much everyone. ~ Milovan S

Was really impressed with my case worker slike Malone she did amazing work for me and I'm very greatful to her for all the hard work she put in for me. I'd like to give another shout out to my therapist Paul for really motivating me to put in extra work in my recovery because you get out what you put in as he would tell me. I shared some real personal stuff with him and I'm greatful to have had him as my therapist. And to the staff everybody for the most part were awesome and always checked on Me during the day. I came to legacy thinking “How much more can I learn?” I came from another rehab/detox place and thought I had learned all I needed to. I have learned so much more, not only from the Therapist and techs but from the wonderful women I lived with. Believe me when I say when you think you got this is when you really don’t. There’s always more room to grow and learn. The techs and therapists are awesome at what they do and they make you feel comfortable with yourself and with them. If I had to do it again ( which I don’t plan on it!) I would absolutely come back here. To the ladies at Sparta I love you and will miss all of you, you guys made my stay that much better!! During my time here there were a lot of ups and downs, this is to be expected when going thru the growth of recovery. I was not always the easiest to deal with, but the techs, the admins, and the other clients here all treated me how they would want to be treated in the same situration. Sometimes it was gentle and kind, when i was really not in a good place. And some times with firm push in the right direction when I was being defiant. But at no point in time did I feel anything but love and caring from the entire staff. They did not always deserve my voice at the tone I had it, but they will always deserve my thanks and gratitude for my time here. I leave here a better person the i came here as. ~ Steven M

I have been to multiple treatment centers and none of them can compare to the experience that I have had at Legacy Treatment Center! The housing is the definition of luxury. The groups set you up with the tools necessary to succeed outside of the facility. My case manager Silke was always on top of things and made sure that all of my needs were cared for. My therapist Birdie really got me to open up during our sessions. I want to say thank you to the facilitators (Malayna, Glorious, and Matthew) really helped me evolve throughout this process with their teaching prompts. Legacy Healing Center has been a blessing in my life. They treat the clients like they genuinely care about you as a person, not just another number. They accommodate your needs and are willing to provide transportation to recovery meetings and activities that promote your growth and sobriety. God blessed me to get sober here. S/O to Glorious, the group facilitator, who has had my back and always shares wisdom. Silke, the case manager, stays on top of everything, has a super cool personality, and is always willing to help. The techs are great too — Anita, PJ, Mark, AJ, and the rest of the staff really make a difference. Christina, the program director, checks in often and is very helpful and down to earth. Jean, the therapist, is great as well. I’m thankful for my experience here and for everybody who played a part in helping me get back on track. ~ James W

I’ve had an amazing experience during my time here. The staff is actually caring and there for us, the facility itself is great, and even the food is great. They make you feel like you matter and actually listen to you. It’s definitely a place that prioritizes YOU and your recovery! It feels like a home away from home. The housing doesn’t make you feel like you’re in treatment, instead it makes you feel as if you’re actually at home which is great preparation for when you go back into the real world. While I was at Legacy I learned so much. I am thankful for my time here. I am taking my coping skills and things that I learned with me. I want to give a big thanks to my Therapist Glorious, he was able to break things down to me, and educated me to understand the disease of addiction and myself. My Case Manager Silke, she is a caring person, she was always available to assist me with any of my needs, and she is very empathetic. and BHT Supervisor Heather she Assisted me with my needs also. My case manager Silke has cared and has gone above and beyond her role. She has gone above and beyond and gave me some words of wisdom that I will never forget. Such a beautiful spirit, and I am not easy to deal with. As far as drug rehabilitation she is an asset and shows it. Michael my therapist is a veteran and has helped me with my nightmares and assisted me with my PTSD and trauma and I am appreciative of him. Natasha the tech was very nice. There are not too many people you meet in your life that are caring but staff here is. Today I am grateful to be sober. I walked in this door and I was given respect from my case manager as a man. This has not been an easy road but I am thankful for life . And to all my legacy people, KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE DONUT AND NOT THE HOLE. From my arrival, I was immediately given the feeling of belonging, at the intake, Sam made me feel comfortable and welcomed, and helped remove my apprehensions. The staff as a whole really embraced me.. from Psych, to my therapist, and my case worker (3 different people!) gave me a sense of hope and without sounding dramatic saved my life. Housing staff couldn't be more understanding and helpful, and will put you in the best position for success.. I highly recommend those who are in need of this particular help to choose Legacy Healing, as they helped change the outlook on my Legacy. I am forever Grateful!!! ~ Albert D

I had such a wonderful time and experience at Legacy. The clinical staff, faculty, and facilities are so exceptional, comfortable and accommodating. Sean is very professional and made me feel safe at the house. Also, the house staff and Dilan are kind. Trish here at the office is very kind hearted and so willing to help (her smile is contagious in a brilliant and bright manner). Kristy is very helpful and has a wonderful personality. Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I arrived at 3am to Miss Anita at the Sparta house. I felt welcomed and like I could go to her for anything. The house was spotless and beyond gorgeous. The pool was by far my favorite asset. I used it every single day weather permitting. All the staff at Sparta were wonderful. ANITA, RAZZ, JESS, KATIE and MARY LOU. They were all so caring and always there to talk if needed, and always right on it whenever we needed anything from shampoo to someone to advocate for us if we were upset about something. The apartments were also a great buffer between going home. They were very clean, homey, and the techs were all amazing. AUTUMN, DYLAN, TRISH, MICHAEL, MARK and NATASHA. These are one of the greatest Theraputic people I've ever met. Malayna, Farrah, Glorious, and Mat gave me strong visual insights to my recovery. An experience that I never thought I would experience to where I now see inside myself to where I appreciate life a lot more. Very nice, very polite and genuine with their words and actions. I was a client of Legacy Healing Center this past year and the staff make you feel like you’re home! It was an amazing experience that I will take with me and cherish for the rest of my life! I was taught such lucrative and amazing things to bring with me on my path of recovery!!! The staff is amazing and so was the center, the housing and the food!! The extra curriculars like yoga and reiki were awesome! I learned so much about my self and addiction throughout this whole process!!! I always felt safe, comfortable, and accommodated!! Had a rough start still getting out of the fog, the staff was very patient and helpful, Amanda was awesome in helping getting there and being supportive, my therapist Hannah was slick how she got me to open up but im glad she did, case manager Stephanie was in my opinion the best case manager helped with my legal issues and getting set up for discharge, the best tech was Lauren who helped out when ever she could, I swear men do work here,lol. The admin team Matt and Alayna were more than patient with me and im grateful they were there, I got love for the staff and hella respect to them and what their doing!!!! ~ John H

Legacy is such an amazing program . The staff have been super supportive through my process of recovery. Hannah is my case manager and she has gone above and beyond at her job. The people who work here have made me feel less alone such as the Clinical Supervisor, Devin and Lead Behavioral Tech, Anita. I know I have people I can reach out to here. I have been struggling with relapse after long-term sobriety. The past three years I have not been able to maintain sobriety. Legacy saved my life. Going into treatment was can be a scary thing. Coming to legacy was the best decision I could have ever made. Legacy is not a treatment facility it’s a my family away from my family. From walking through their doors, to attending groups, to meeting the staff is an experience that I would never forget.
